Our story

A calm corner for crafted coffee.

We opened in a former hardware shop in 2021 with a second-hand grinder and a plan we have mostly stuck to: buy well, roast small, and make the room somewhere people want to stay.

The room

A former hardware shop with very good light.

The counter is where the timber racks used to be, and the long table at the back is the shop's original workbench, sanded down and put back to work.

We kept the tiles, the light and most of the shelving. Everything else — the oak, the plants, the chairs you can sit in for ninety minutes — we added slowly, as the shop paid for it.

Four farms, visited every harvest, paid two to four times the commodity price.
House-made pastries
Laminated over three days and baked twice each morning, at six and at nine.
A room to stay in
Chairs you can sit in for an hour, sockets on two walls, and no closing-time hurry.
Tables you can book
Reserve in under a minute, including the long table for six at the back.
Ripe red coffee cherries on a branch

Where it starts

Four farms.
One long relationship each.

We buy from two farms in Huila, one in Guji and a cooperative of eleven smallholders in Nariño. Keeping the list short is what lets us pay attention — and pay properly.
